Building Evaluation – Medical Renovations
The Challenge:
Complete surveys and sampling of building materials in pre-existing shopping center buildings to determine the presence of asbestos containing building materials and lead-based paint. The information was needed for architects to plan the demolition and renovation of the facilities for proposed medical clinics.
Our Solution:
EnviroSouth’s licensed professionals obtained information regarding the building histories from owners and managers to plan the most efficient and complete sampling strategies. The work was done concurrently with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and completed within the proposed schedules and budgets.
What's Unique:
By communicating closely with the asbestos analytical laboratory and providing the client with data results before the final reports were prepared, approximately 10 days were gained in procurement of asbestos abatement quotes.
