Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), Groundwater Assessment
The Challenge:
While performing the Phase I ESA, available information regarding the history and use of the property was limited. Supplemental interviews were then completed with personnel within the industrial facility howeveran approximately thirty (30) year history with no information regarding the use and handling of hazardous materials and petroleum products remained. This long-term industrial use of a facility resulted in the identification of a recognized environmental condition (REC).
Our Solution:
Performed a Limited Phase II ESA to evaluate the groundwater for subsurface contamination. Groundwater samples were collected throughout the property and laboratory analysis for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) was conducted on the collected groundwater samples.
What's Unique:
Due to the transaction short due diligence and closing timeframe, the Phase I and II ESA services were expeditiously conducted to ensure completion within the appropriated timeframe to keep the deal on track.
